From inspiration to keepsake, discover the thoughtful journey behind every piece I create. Here's a glimpse into how your paper goods come to life...

There's something special about paper goods that connect with people on a deeper level. What makes the difference? It's the thought, care, and creative journey behind each piece.

In a world where digital shortcuts are the norm, hand-drawn elements tell a different story. They carry subtle imperfections and variations that feel human and authentic. That curved line that isn't perfectly symmetrical? The slightly varied thickness in a flourish? These are the details that make a design feel special rather than mass-produced.

Creating custom designs is a partnership. Your story and vision are essential ingredients that make the final piece uniquely yours.

I pride myself on listening carefully, asking the right questions, and translating your ideas into designs that hopefully exceed expectations. The collaborative refinement process ensures that every detail resonates with your personal style and the mood you want to create.

The most rewarding part of my process happens after your paper goods are delivered—when they're shared, displayed, saved, and treasured. I design with these moments in mind, imagining how your invitations might be kept in memory boxes, how your stationery might brighten someone's day when they open their mailbox, or how your greeting card might find a home on a bulletin board for months to come.

Gathering Inspiration

I begin each project by immersing myself in inspiration. This might mean exploring color palettes that evoke a certain feeling, studying historical design elements, or simply observing subtle details in nature and architecture. For custom work, this phase includes understanding your story—what moments you're celebrating, the feeling you want  to evoke, and the details that will make them yours.

Initial Sketching
Initial Sketching

With inspiration in mind, I move to sketching. These early drawings are where ideas take their first form—exploring compositions, testing different elements, and finding the perfect balance of details. This exploratory phase is crucial for discovering unexpected directions and refining the concept.

Once the concept is clear, I begin creating the detailed elements that will become part of your design. Working primarily by hand allows me to infuse each piece with subtle variations and organic qualities that digital-only design simply can't replicate.

The hand-created elements are then carefully scanned and digitally composed. This stage allows me to perfect the layout, adjust colors, and ensure everything works in harmony. For custom projects, this is where we collaborate closely—refining the design until it perfectly captures your vision.
